Ivan Čuić designs and builds the beautifully sounding Kantarion speaker system. One if his most recent builds was commissioned by the newly opened @laak.club in The Hague. A two day on-site meetup gave us the time to talk, listen, experience, measure, analyse and discuss the physical aspects of sound and its behaviour in a room, the interaction between source, room and receiver, the influence of speaker placement and acoustic treatment, but above all about the human interpretation and experiencing of the whole in its context.
